Career Portal Overview
careers@ amrita
A centralized recruitment system for all institutions under Amrita University. The portal brings to one place, all the recruitment needs of the institution, allowing the process of recruitment to be efficiently managed.
How does the portal work?
Vacancies at Amrita University will be advertised as per the requirements of various recruitment authorities, through platforms such as Linked In, Naukiri.com , etc. “careers@ amrita” portal is linked to these platforms.
Once the applicants register for the job, through any platform they are led to the Amrita Careers portal using their username and password. They are required to fill in some basic information about themselves. Once this is done, the portal sends an automated mail demanding them to fill in the PIS Form, in which they provide information such as their educational qualification, certificates, experience, etc. After receiving the completed PIS from the portal, then schedule the date and time of their interview.
If the candidate gets through the interview they will be hired. The hired candidate will be issued an offer letter, and they will be automatically registered in the HRMS (Human Resources Management System) portal.
Note:
Applicants, who are recommended/ suggested must go through the same procedures in the Amrita Careers portal.
The admin of the careers portal has control over the various stages of the recruitment process from advertising job vacancies, shortlisting candidates, arranging the interviews, to the candidate hiring.
